SIU determines no wrongdoing in 2016 police chase that injured child, father

Ontario’s police watchdog, the Special Investigations Unit, has ruled there are no reasonable grounds to lay charges against an Ontario Provincial Police officer after a 35-year-old man and a four-year-old child were injured in a 2016 single-vehicle crash in Pembroke.
