'Significant' snowfall expected Monday night
A low-pressure system heading towards Eastern Ontario is expected to bring 5 to 10 cm of snow Monday night and it might come with some ice pellets and freezing rain before turning into scattered showers Tuesday morning as the mercury soars.
Environment Canada warned in a special weather statement that “motorists are urged to exercise caution tonight and Tuesday morning as road conditions may be poor at times.”
