Shhh…agall: National Gallery CEO silent as questions surface about Chagall debacle

As art lovers await the reappearance of painter Marc Chagall’s La Tour Eiffel in the National Gallery of Canada’s collection, those involved in the now-scuttled plan to sell the masterpiece next month at a New York auction are keeping very, very quiet.
