Shepherds' injection site to be replaced while province reviews the issue

While the provincial government deliberates on the future of supervised injection sites, Ottawa’s large temporary site at Shepherds of Good Hope has run out of space and will be replaced with a bigger one to cope with overwhelming demand.
Shepherds of Good Hope and Ottawa Inner City Health set up a 40-foot trailer in a parking lot off Murray Street behind their building a year ago to serve a growing need until a permanent, indoor supervised injection site could be built.
