Sexual assault occurred after man posed as gas meter inspector, police say

The Ottawa police, investigating a sexual assault, asked for the public’s help Friday night to identify a suspicious male who they said posed as a gas meter inspector in order to gain access to a woman’s residence.
The sexual assault and child abuse unit was investigating an incident that took place at about 1 p.m. Friday in the area of Wiggins Private and Chapel Street.
