Severe thunderstorm watch over for Ottawa and Gatineau

A severe thunderstorm watch for the Ottawa area has ended.
Environment Canada issued the watch at 11 a.m., saying that conditions were favourable for the severe storm later Tuesday afternoon including the possibility of hail and wind gust of up to 90 km/h.
The alert was in affect for Ottawa North-Kanata-Orléans, Ottawa South-Richmond-Metcalfe, and Gatineau.
