Severe thunderstorm watch issued for Ottawa and Gatineau

A severe thunderstorm watch has been issued for the Ottawa area.
Environment Canada issued the watch at 11 a.m., saying that conditions were favourable for the severe storm later Tuesday afternoon including the possibility of hail and wind gust of up to 90 km/h.
The alert is in affect for Ottawa North-Kanata-Orléans, Ottawa South-Richmond-Metcalfe, and Gatineau.
