Severe thunderstorm watch issued, but a glorious weekend ahead

Stop us if you’ve heard this before: Environment Canada has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for the capital region.
The agency had issued a forecast for a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of showers and the risk of a thunderstorm in the late afternoon or evening, Environment Canada reports. The high was expected to be 27 C with a humidex of 32. The UV index is 7 or high.
But, seriously, Friday looks fabulous — mainly sunny and 25 C with a smidge of humidity that will
