Security industry vet appointed to Ottawa police board

A new provincially appointed member of the Ottawa police board is set to be sworn in at the end of the month. 
The board announced Thursday that the lieutenant governor of Ontario has appointed Andrea Blaustein for a two-year term. That appointment began on Monday and would end in 2020.
Blaustein is an honours graduate from Algonquin College in security management. She has worked in the security industry in various levels of government, and studied criminology and law at Carleton University
