Section of Merivale Road closing for 10 weeks

A short section of Merivale Road is about to close for 10 weeks. Blame it on widening of the Highway 417 bridge over Merivale.
Beginning Monday at 6 a.m., Merivale will be closed in both directions between Island Park Drive and Carling Avenue.
Signed detours will be in place for the duration of the closure. The sidewalk on the east side of Merivale Road will remain open for pedestrians, or for cyclists who walk their bikes.
