School resource officer arrests boy, 15, in gunpoint robbery case

A 15-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday at a school the day after a gunpoint robbery that led to a manhunt that sent tactical officers to a Heatherington Park-area home for hours.
Police have since laid a string of charges and seized guns from his family home, the robbery unit reported Friday.
At about 10:25 a.m. Tuesday, police were called to a Tim Hortons near the intersection of Heatherington and Walkley roads. A suspect, his face disguised, had walked in armed with a handgun and demanded ca
