Canada’s Olympics opened in the most Canadian way: with an apology.
Exactly what the apology was for isn’t clear, but just in case a Canadian might have offended a member of the Russian delegation, a Canadian Olympic Committee type sent out a missive to the Russian team (can we call them the Russian team?) to say sorry.
