Ryan Hartman released on bail pending appeal in sexsomnia case
BROCKVILLE — Ryan Hartman, who was twice convicted for sexual assault related to an incident eight years ago, is again free on bail pending his appeal.
Hartman, who used the “sexsomnia” defence for his assault on Bekah D’Aoust at an Oxford Mills house party in 2011, is appealing his conviction and one-year sentence levied last month. It marks the third time that Hartman has appealed his conviction.
