Rideau Canal reopens Friday for the 2018 season
In a surefire sign of summer, the Rideau Canal’s 2018 season launches Friday.
Local MP Catherine McKenna, the minister of environment and climate change responsible for Parks Canada, was set to kick it off at 10 a.m. by arriving at the Ottawa Lockstation by voyageur canoe with local paddlers.
