Richardson: Trump is a great classroom teaching tool – sadly

U.S. President Donald Trump has a knack for dominating the headlines. He also has a habit of cropping up in my high school English classes.
I recently worked through a list of terminology with my grade 11 students, wanting them to have the language to go deeper in their analysis of literature and media texts such as advertisements and news articles.
As always, I was alert to the connections we could draw between the terminology and current events, movies, TV shows, music and social media trends.
