Residents rescued from balconies in east end fire

A number of residents were rescued from their balconies at a major fire in a residential high-rise building on Donald Street in the east end early Wednesday.
Firefighters were called to the alarm at 251 Donald St. near the Vanier Parkway at about 5:30 a.m.
