Regional cold front, high winds, could mean treacherous roads, weather office says
Suddenly reduced visibility on treacherous roads could create hazardous driving conditions Wednesday morning as a cold front crosses the region, Environment Canada warns.
A weather advisory issued just after 9 a.m. Wednesday warns of at times heavy snow in the Ottawa Valley, capital and West Quebec, strong northwesterly wind gusts of up to 60 km/h and the potential for slippery, snow-covered roads.
