Record-breaking cold continues, but slush by the weekend

It’s a record-breaking day, but not the good kind.
A frostbite warning remains in effect for Thursday as the region has already set a dubious record as the coldest Nov. 22 ever.
Early morning readings of a pure -15 C (feels like -25 with the windchill) beats out the -14.4 C set in 1972.
Do you feel proud?
Anyway, the weather office and Ottawa Public Health are maintaining their frostbite advisories in the region, as Thursday’s high is expected to be only -9 C.
