Queensway blocked at Maitland as vehicle flips, traps occupant

All eastbound lanes of the Queensway were blocked at Maitland Avenue mid-morning Wednesday after a crash that catapulted a vehicle onto its roof and left an occupant trapped.
The left shoulder and two westbound lanes were also blocked, the city’s traffic centre reported.
The fire department said that they were summoned on reports of an unconscious patient trapped in the vehicle.
The patient was freed from the wreck by about 10:35 a.m.
