Pump prices expected to start trickling down with four-cent drop Thursday: Analyst

The gas pains we’ve been feeling at the pump should start to ease but “fast up, slow down,” an industry analyst warns.
Dan McTeague of gasbuddy.com predicts a four-cent price drop Thursday and perhaps a penny on Friday but says the best case scenario is that it’s two weeks before the impact of Hurricane Harvey blows over.
As of Wednesday afternoon, gas prices in the area ranged from a low of 120.9 cents a litre to a high of 131.9 cents.
The Ottawa average was 128.5 cents
