Police warn of panhandling pair being moved along Highway 401

A pair of women claiming to need cash to feed their hungry kids are being moved along the Highway 401 corridor to solicit cash, Prescott OPP warns.
The women, holding a cardboard sign, appeared near businesses just off the highway on July 15 and 25, and have also turned up in Tillsonburg, Trenton and Gananoque, police said.
“The females are being transported to numerous locations off the 401 corridor to solicit money,” the Prescott detachment warned.
