Police still expect 2017 budget deficit, have curbed OT costs

Even though Ottawa police have reduced their anticipated overtime costs and expect to recover every cent they spent on Canada’s sesquicentennial events, the force still anticipates a $1.6-million budget deficit by year’s end.
