Police seize semi-automatic rifle in east-end raid

City police discovered a semi-automatic rifle stashed in a guitar case and made two arrests in a raid on a Vanier apartment Thursday.
Officers searched the apartment on Joffre Belanger Way at about 1 p.m. Thursday after an investigation by the guns and gangs unit.
