Police seek gun-wielding robber at Barrhaven ATM

City police are asking the public to help them identify a suspect in an armed robbery at an ATM on Strandherd Drive near Woodroffe Avenue last October.
The robbery unit reports that the victim was taking out money at about 9:30 p.m. on Oct 5 when the suspect approached from behind, pointed a handgun and demanded cash. The suspect fled with an undisclosed sum in a silver Volkswagen sedan.
