Police searching for 'known suspect' after man stabbed on Cumberland

Police are investigating after a man believed to be in his 70s was stabbed on Cumberland Street on Wednesday.
The incident took place shortly before 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, according to the Ottawa Paramedic Service, near the intersection of Daly Avenue, two blocks south of Rideau Street.
Paramedics say the man was taken to the Ottawa Hospital’s trauma centre and is in serious, but stable, condition.
