Police 'problem addresses' project in Vanier turns up robbery, gun suspects

A city police project addressing “problem addresses” in Vanier turned up a robbery suspect and unearthed a man released on gun charges who was breaching his bail conditions over the weekend.
Police were called to the robbery of a convenience store on Montreal Road Saturday where a man took items, assaulted a customer and fled.
Using their neighbourhood knowledge, patrol officers quickly found the suspect and made an arrest. He was charged with robbery.
