Police officer pleads guilty to illegally transferring weapon

A 40-year-old Ottawa Police officer who compounded a co-worker’s bad judgment in the handling of his service weapon and ended up facing a criminal charge in Kingston has been sanctioned in court, but he will not be burdened with a criminal record.
