Police lay charges against truck driver after crash

Ontario Provincial Police officers have charged a truck driver after the vehicle he was driving crashed through a barrier and fell to the bottom of an embankment early Wednesday morning.
Police said the tractor-trailer was eastbound on Forest Lea Road, half way between Pembroke and Petawawa, when it left the roadway. The vehicle, which was transporting paint, sustained heavy damages. It also lost much of its load, leaking paint all over the area where it came to a rest.
