Police investigating early morning shooting Friday in Orléans

The Ottawa police east division crime unit is investigating after reports of half a dozen gunshots in the residential neighbourhood on Belcourt Boulevard in Orléans early Friday morning.
A bystander described hearing “six or seven shots” shortly before 2:30 a.m., and talked to police at the scene.
“Over the next hour, I saw dozens of vehicles, marked and unmarked, arrive,” including “tactical officers and canine units,” the bystander wrote in an email.
