Police credit public tips in arrest of robbery suspect
Ottawa police said Friday that public input was key in the arrest on Tuesday of a 28-year-old woman in connection with a series of robberies at pharmacies and a gas station.
Amalia Assad-Espinosa appeared in court Wednesday to face five charges of robbery, as well as three counts each of wearing a disguise and using a weapon.
