Police continue crackdown on disorderly conduct in ByWard Market

Police say they poured out over 50 drinks and snuffed out 17 joints in the ByWard Market on Friday and Saturday night as part of their enhanced community safety initiative.
Only one man was arrested for public intoxication, say police. They also said that they had doled out more than two dozen notices and warnings — including to 17 people who may have forgotten that cannabis is not yet legal and who were given warnings by the police for smoking it in public.
Ottawa police have ramped up th
