Police arrest man who allegedly assaulted Ottawa cabbie

Ottawa police have arrested a man who allegedly sucker-punched a cabbie then robbed him of his cash after the ride.
According to police, the man hailed a cab at around 5:15 a.m. on October 22. He asked the cab to take him from Rideau Street near Chapel Street to Barrette Street in Vanier.
But after the short ride, he attacked the driver, leaving him with minor injuries, and fled on foot, according to police.
