Phoenix Pay: Auditor General to weigh in (again) on Tuesday

Auditor General Michael Ferguson on Tuesday will dissect the Phoenix Pay debacle for the second time in six months.
In his first effort, delivered last November, Ferguson pointed out it had taken the bureaucrats in charge of the $310 million project a full year after problems first became evident to come up with a plan to fix the flawed system.
Just as damning, Ferguson calculated the cost of a repair would likely top $540 million by March 31, 2019.
