Pets dead in fire that destroyed Osgoode farmhouse

The family who lived in a Stagecoach Road farmhouse could only watch, supported by friends, as their home was consumed by fire Tuesday.
Their pets — two dogs, a cat and a rabbit — apparently died in the blaze, the fire department said, and paramedics reported that one person was treated for smoke inhalation.
