Petawawa youth faces criminal charges for online threats

A 14-year-old Petawawa boy has learned there are real world consequences for bad online behaviour.
Provincial police have charged the youth with three Criminal Code offence for uttering threats and another for criminal harassment for actions against another 14-year-old youth on April 3.
The second youth’s family had complained of serious threats made to the youth over social media.
The identity of the person charged and the victim are shield under the Young Offenders Act.
