Pedestrian succumbs to injuries after Manotick crash

A pedestrian has died in the hospital after being struck by the driver of a commercial vehicle in Manotick Friday morning.
It happened on Ann Street between Beaverview Road and Maple Avenue just after 9 a.m.
The roadway was expected to be closed for several hours as collision investigators examined the scene.
