Pedestrian in serious but stable condition after being struck on Strandherd Drive

A 28-year-old man was taken to hospital in serious but stable condition late Tuesday night after he was struck by a small SUV as he walked on Strandherd Drive.
His injuries aren’t considered life-threatening, police said Wednesday morning.
They were called to the intersection with Greenbank Road at 11:30 p.m.
Police cordoned off a stretch of westbound Strandherd Drive for hours as they launched a continuing investigation.
