Pedestrian dead after being struck by vehicle in Kanata

A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle on Goulbourn Forced Road in North Kanata at about 5 p.m. Thursday.
Goulbourn was closed between Kanata Avenue and Innovation Drive due to an ongoing investigation, Ottawa police said in a news release. Access to Goulbourn from KeyRock Drive and Badgeley Avenue was also closed. Motorists and pedestrians were asked to avoid the area.ALSO IN THE NEWS:
