Patrol officers arrest suspect with loaded .45 cal handgun

A 27-year-old Ottawa man faces a long list of weapons charges after he was arrested Saturday with a loaded .45 cal handgun.
East division patrol officers had been on the lookout for Ahmed Hassan, who was the subject of a warrant for breach of probation and missing a court date.
The suspect was found in the 2800 block of Cedarwood Drive, between Heron and Walkley roads.
Hassan was arrested without incident and a subsequent search turned up the handgun.
He now faces eight additional weapons charge
