Overnight carnage closes eastern Ontario highways

Stretches of three highways in eastern Ontario were closed Sunday morning due to serious overnight accidents, one of which may have involved a police chase.The Special Investigations Unit has been called in to examine the circumstances of the single vehicle rollover near Smiths Falls that left a 29-year-old driver in hospital.
