Ottawa's largest school board braces for possible provincial funding cuts

Ottawa’s largest school board is bracing for funding cuts after the province suggested Ontario boards consider implementing a hiring freeze.
“I think all of us are concerned that we will see some reduction in our funding,” says Lynn Scott, chair of the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board. The English public board has more than 70,000 students in 148 schools.
