Ottawa woman falls two storeys after balcony railing collapses

An Ottawa woman fell two storeys when a balcony railing collapsed at an apartment block in Sandy Hill.
Ottawa paramedics responded to an emergency call at 10:18 p.m., near Nelson Street and Laurier Avenue East, and found the woman with head and neck injuries.
She was taken to the Civic campus of The Ottawa Hospital in serious but stable condition.
