Ottawa weather: Temperature take a dive, Rideau Canal Skateway remains open

First the good news, Monday night’s freezing rain and snow hasn’t closed the Rideau Canal Skateway. The 2.7-kilometre stretch between the Bank Street and Pretoria bridges and including the the Patterson Creek arm are open, unfortunately the conditions are poor.
