Ottawa Votes: Advance voting already outpaces 2014

Voting at Ottawa’s six municipal special advance polls continued at a brisk pace this weekend, with more than 9,200 voters registering their Xs on Thursday and Friday, more than the roughly 8,000 who did so in three days of advance voting in 2014.
A total of 5,249 voters cast ballots on Thursday, with an additional 4,022 doing so on Friday. Voting was scheduled to continue from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
Regular advance voting takes place in individual wards on Oct. 12,
