Ottawa team first board-certified tactical paramedics in Canada

The Ottawa Paramedic Service is hailing the members of its tactical unit for becoming the first board-certified tactical paramedic team in the country.
“The certification process is focused on the knowledge level of accomplished tactical paramedics that work in hostile and austere environments,” the service said in a news release Wednesday.
The International Board of Specialty Certification includes exams covering advanced cardiac life support, international and pre-hospital tra
