Ottawa takes home more than $1 million from Raceway

The Ontario government is touting a $1,141,418 payday for the City of Ottawa from Rideau Carleton Raceway Casino receipts in the first two months of 2019.
The cash is for “hosting” the casino in the quarter from Jan. 1 to March 31.
Over the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation’s fiscal year ending last month, the city got $6,122,024.
