Ottawa slips into autumn with cool days, chilly nights

Friday’s early risers were treated to a bit of a chill, a preview of the forecast for the next few days as the capital moves into a pretty typical Ottawa autumn.
Friday’s chilly temps are expected to soar (relatively) to a high of about 16 C under mixed skies. Winds could get blustery with gusts of up to 40 km/h.
Showers are expected through Friday night but nothing major and the low should drop to 7 C.
