Ottawa Senators owner Eugene Melnyk hit with $1 billion-plus counterclaim over 'failed' downtown arena bid

John Ruddy and Trinity Development are seeking more than $1 billion in damages from Ottawa Senators owners Eugene Melnyk and Capital Sports Management Inc., a subsidiary of the NHL hockey team.
