Ottawa rats about to make big TV debut

Ottawa’s sewer rats will finally get their moment in the TV spotlight, thanks to city hall.
It will be a closed-circuit TV monitor, of course, available only to the professionals who work in the environmental services department and the city’s sewer contractors.
The city doesn’t have a good method of tracking rats or a decent way to gauge how many of them are scurrying around Ottawa at any given time of the year.
