Ottawa police seek help in identifying robbery suspect

The Ottawa Police Service has asked for public assistance in identifying a man involved in a bank robbery on Wellington Street West earlier this month.A man walked up to the bank counter, told the teller he had a gun and demanded money at about 5:40 p.m. on April 4, police said Friday. No weapon was actually seen.
The suspect fled the scene on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, heading toward the intersection of Wellington Street and Holland Avenue.
